The planar microstrip transmission array can realize the change of the overall beam shape and orientation of the antenna.In order to achieve massive production,reduce cost and requirements in special environments such as moving and conformal,the advantages of the microstrip array antenna are highlighted.As a new type of antenna,under the requirements of high gain performance,the structure should be as simple as possible.Easy to realize is the mainstream research direction of the antenna,especially in the area of electromagnetic fields,wireless information communication and satellite communications.In thesis,a new planar microstrip transmission array is studied.First of all,this paper mainly introduces the research background and significance of the transmission matrix.The research status of the transmission array at home and abroad is collected,summarized and introduced.Meanwhile,it gives a detailed description of the development of the microstrip transmission array antenna and its basic working principle.At the same time,a common phase compensation calculation method is given,and then common phase compensation element and specific antenna performance data is summarized.Secondly,the paper mainly introduces the design process of two micro-band transmission array antennas based on double conformal rings,which are double-layer planar microstrip transmission array and three-layer microstrip transmission array antenna.By changing the physical size of the double conformal element for phase compensation.Simulation,fabrication and measurement of the designed two-layer array antenna.The simulation results of the two-layer planar transmission array were peak gain of 27.59 dB.The max array gain of three-layer transmission array is about26.41 dB.Compared with the double-layer transmission array antenna,the gain is reduced by 1.18 dB,but the bandwidth is improved.The gain bandwidth of the double-layer transmission array is from 9.3GHz to 10.5GHz,and the relative bandwidth is about 12.1%.The gain bandwidth of the three-layer transmission array is from 9.2 GHz to 11.2 GHz,and the relative bandwidth is about 19.6%,an increase of about 7.5%.At the same time,the measurement results of the two-layer array antennas is in good agreement with the simulation results.Thirdly,a 1-Bit wide-band digital transmission array based on the notched square ring element structure is proposed.Simulation results show that the 1dB gain bandwidth of 1-Bit digital transmission array is from 8.4GHz to 10.8GHz,and its relative bandwidth is about 25%,which has better bandwidth.Finally,the above four chapters is summarized and discussed.
