So far,the pipeline transportation industry has developed vigorously for decades.The development of pipeline transportation invisibly drives the social and economic development of the areas along the pipeline,plays an important role in economic construction and national energy security,and is an indispensable part of China's modernization goal.Using pipeline to transport materials has the advantages of low cost,fast,safe and reliable without environmental impact.In the process of the rapid development of pipeline transportation industry,there will be a variety of problems,among which pipeline leakage as an important issue is put on the agenda.Leakage accidents will inevitably occur in transportation pipelines due to long-term work,natural wear and tear,and changes in geographical environment.Serious pipeline leakage accidents will threaten people's lives and safety,and cause irreparable huge losses to national economic construction and ecological environment.Therefore,how to locate pipeline leakage quickly and accurately has become an important hot issue in related research.So far,researchers at home and abroad have adopted different measures to detect pipeline leakage.In view of pipeline leakage,the current popular research method is to use the acoustic signal generated by pipeline leakage to study.The main research work of this paper includes:(1)The background and significance of pipeline leakage detection technology research are summarized,the development history of pipeline leakage technology at home and abroad is elaborated in detail,and the advanced pipeline leakage detection technology is briefly introduced.(2)The wavelet analysis method,the principle of wavelet threshold denoising and empirical mode decomposition are introduced.The main processing methods and characteristics of acoustic signals are introduced.The development status and advantages of acoustic signal processing technology are also introduced.The empirical mode decomposition method and advantages used in this paper are described.(3)Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing wavelet threshold denoising algorithm,a new denoising algorithm is proposed on the basis of the previous improved algorithm.The simulation results show that the algorithm is good.According to the actual demand of denoising of the collected signals in this paper,the new threshold denoising algorithm proposed in this paper is combined with empirical mode decomposition to process the pipeline leakage signal.The validity of the method is verified.(4)Pipeline leak location experiment of acoustic signal is carried out.Pipeline leak signal is collected by sensor.Then noise processing of pipeline leak acoustic signal is carried out by EMD combined with improved wavelet threshold.Finally,the location of pipeline leak point is carried out by time difference method.The experiment shows the feasibility of this method.
