Nowadays,social media has entered a period of prosperity and development,and mobile short videos that implement the spirit of two-way interaction have become the most eye-catching social form.As one of the most successful mobile short video social platforms in China,Douyin has a phenomenon of internet celebrity city.The typical representative of Xi'an has changed from a historical city to a novel fashion internet celebrity city in the Douyin,attracting many young people to Xi'an.Exploring the reasons behind this phenomenon requires clarifying the concepts and characteristics of social media and mobile short video socialization,sorting out their development process;analyzing what changes have been made to people's social interaction by mobile short video;what role does the context play in it;What are the driving factors behind the popularity?Focusing on these issues,combined with Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory,Merovitz's Theory of Media Situation and the theory constructed by Robert Scober,Sher Isrell,Peng Lan and others in the context of mobile Internet,then builds a framework for context communication,and the case is analyzed through literature research,field investigation and other methods to draw conclusions.Mobile short video features strong interactivity,fragmentation,virtual body“presence”,“staged” performance,etc.Mobile short video builds social context in several dimensions: space and environment,personal habits and real-time status,and social atmosphere.In the social context,the meaning of "stage" is strengthened and becomes "stage",and people's social behavior is more and more scenario.The city's popularity in the mobile short-video social platform has also benefited from the “stage” effect of social context.The urban culture of Xi'an in the ancient city makes its communication context in the Douyin unique,IP activities of Xi'an Year and China's series of cities,urban image transformation,and new media cooperation are organized by Xi'an municipal government.Xi'an became fashionable and cool,publicity have changed the traditional image of Xi'an,enhancing the "stage" effect and becoming the social "stage" of the context.At present,more and more people are paying attention to the new “entrance” of the context.The analysis of the context can provide a reference for the development of fiercely competitive mobile short videos.It is also conducive to the transformation of urban image shaping propaganda,breaking the traditional restraint and embracing mobile short video.
