With the wide use of electronic equipment in modern society,navigation for the blind has always been a research hot spot.Due to their own particularity,blind people usually go out to reach a certain indoor place even if they go out.Although there are many devices related to navigation for the blind in the society,they are mostly outdoor navigation,and there are not many researches on indoor navigation.In this paper,the blind indoor navigation system is the main research direction,combined with infrared,ultrasonic and other technologies,respectively from the fixed device and hand-held device design,research a set of effective help blind indoor activities of inexpensive equipment.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Through the comparison of navigation technologies for blind people at home and abroad,a set of navigation system suitable for blind people to walk indoors is developed.The system is divided into a fixed device and a Handel device.A convenient and fast indoor navigation system for blind people is proposed by combining ultrasonic obstacle avoidance and infrared ranging technology.2.Component selection,selecting the most suitable fixing device and handheld device module for this system.Through the accurate positioning of the fixing device,the receiving signal of the handheld device,the addition of voice prompt module language,electronic compass direction discrimination,etc.,the blind can be smoothly helped to reach the destination.The fixing device adopts PT2262 coding chip to code and transmit infrared credit,and R40 ultrasonic probe is used to receive signals.Handheld device uses speech recognition module LD3320,integrated HC-SR04 ultrasonic ranging module and electronic compass GY-26 direction discrimination module.3.After determining the component types of the fixed device and the handheld device,design the software and hardware of the control system according to the overall scheme,compile the corresponding software system according to the hardware frame diagram,build the internal circuit frame diagram of each part,andfinally calculate the best route from the current position to the destination through the queue type branch and bound method.4.In the self-selected experimental scene,ultrasonic ranging and obstacle avoidance experiments,infrared signal transmission experiments,electronic compass direction discrimination experiments and simulated blind navigation experiments were carried out respectively.According to the experimental data,the blind indoor navigation system developed in this paper can remind the blind to avoid various obstacles during walking,reach the destination,and initially reach the predetermined target.
