Study On The Integration Of Public And Private Spheres In Variety Shows From Scene Construction

As an important cultural and entertainment content,variety shows have brought profound influences and changes to people's spiritual and cultural life.In the context of the Internet,the market size of China's variety shows continues to grow in volume.However,the problems of the mutual erosion and the blurriness of boundaries between the public and private spheres are also increasingly prominent in the variety shows,which has brought about the hidden ethical dangers such as the dilemma of privacy and the lack of publicity.Love observation show is the dark horse in the variety show market in 2018.While bringing huge market dividends,the integration of public and private spheres highlighted in the shows cannot be ignored.From the perspective of scene construction,this paper takes love observation show as an example to deeply discuss the integration of public and private spheres in variety shows,so as to provide references and suggestions on how to optimize the scene construction of shows and thus alleviate the integration of public and private spheres.By using the methods of literature research and case study,this paper chooses three representative love observation show samples and divides the scene of love observation show scenarios into internal scene and extended scene.It analyzes the intermal scene of the show from four aspects:time arrangement,space environment,storyline and character image,and studies the extended scene from two aspects:experience and link.The research results show that the scene construction fully reflects the integration of public and private spheres in variety shows represented by love observation show,and the privacy in the private sphere and the publicity in the public sphere are facing double ethical tests.Specifically,in the internal scene construction of the program,there exist the excessive disclosure of privacy,the unclear boundaries between front and back stage,and the foreground of "sexual relationship" etc.In the extended scene construction,there exist the irrational barrage carnival,the constant erosion of social media public space,the lack of publicity and so on.Therefore,in order to avoid the negative impact of the integration of public and private spheres,in terms of internal scenes construction,we should pay attention to the "degree" of the openness to guests' privacy in the time arrangement;trying to broaden the issues in storyline to enhance the cultural value of the show;and making the boundary between the front and back stage clear for hosts.In the aspect of extended scene construction,it is necessary to strengthen the rule reconstruction of the behavior of the audience,combining hard rules such as laws and regulations with soft rules such as social ethics;and social media should assume the media responsibility to eonstruct a dual discourse space of private and public.
