In the 5G era,eMBB,URLLC and mMTC are the three main application scenarios put forward in the whitepaper,expected to provide users with extreme lower latency as well as higher reliability to improve the user experience.DataCenter Optical Network is regarded as an important infrastructure for its ability of information storage and processing,as well as its advantages of large bandwidth and high efficiency.However,faced with the 5G performance requirements,DataCenter Optical Network urgently need to optimize its network structures,enhance core control capabilities,and improve the agility of resource provision,to enhance its carrying capacity comprehensively,in order to cope with the 5G era challenges.Based on the research cooperated with other company,the project has a deep study on the multi-layer controller cascading architecture for DataCenter Optical Network and the virtualization strategy applied to this architecture.The main work and innovations of the research are as follows:1.Faced with the index and the typical needs of 5G services,the project proposes the concept of Virtualized Slice and the Service-aware Control Architecture.The architecture adds application control layer to the traditional control architecture,and refines the functions of the controller in the network control layer,what's more,the Virtual Slice with typical network characteristics and independent life cycle is combined.By perceiving service type,services are treated differently.Thus,the process of virtual network mapping has been effectively simplified,the efficiency of business processing and the overall performance of the network has been improved.2.Based on the Service-aware Control Architecture,the project proposes a Business-Oriented Virtualization Strategy.Firstly,differentiating the service type,in the next dispatching the service into the line matching with the service type,and then processing the services with different algorithm.The project takes the service blocking rate,queue average delay,and resource utilization as the evaluation indicators,The simulation verifies that the architecture and the strategy can improve the network performance effectively.3.In order to verify the feasibility of the control architecture and virtualization strategy proposed in this paper,the project designs and realizes a series of extended models cooperate with the platform basic components to realize the function of virtualizing the network resources,based on the Beryllium version of the OpenDaylight open source platform and finally the feasibility is verified.
