The title of this graduation project is the reasoning Adventure game design based on the immersion theory.Based on the situational mechanism in the theory of immersion and the principle of proximity,I independently designed and produced a reasoning AVG game called "Double Detective",and will eventually produce a trial chapter of the game, which lasts for about fifteen minutes. The original intention of game design is that I found that the reasoning games produced in recent years run counter to the concept of Bengger reasoning. The players experience no longer the intellectual competition in the traditional detective story.A large number of works gradually evolve into accentuated pictures and tory action class RPG game with bizarre images. For this reason,I hope that the result of this design is a game with rich background story setting and intricate puzzle levels. It not only enables the player to have an immersive sense of substitution, but also brings more possibilities to the form of the puzzle and the hiding of clues.Through the analysis of the needs of the inference game enthusiasts,it is found that when the player starts to play the reasoning Adventure game, the expected sense of achievement obtained is far superior to that obtained from watching the reasoning movies and reading the detective novels. It is because of this sense of accomplishment that is different from the tension and shock that follow the fixed plots in watching movies and novels. It is the player who substitutes himself into the game to obtain the “immersion”,which enable he or she to act as a detective, interact with the NPC,and try to reason the truth. This immersion is not only visual performance, but also psychological and spiritual performance, directing my further research on the immersion theory. The research topic "Adventure game design based on immersion theory" needs to study the theory of immersion, deeply explore the definition of immersion, screen out the part of AMD game suitable for 2D reasoning theory, analyze the specific steps of the theoretical immersion design and application, draw lessons from the past excellent play works, and find a clear and scientific theoretical support for the design of the subject. The significance of theoretical research is to make the immersion theory that can only be used in 3D or VRgames in the inherent cognition provide theoretical and data model support for the 2D game design process, thus making the player have a stronger sense of immersion in the majority of 2D reasoning AVG games, and experience the fun of the game. The traditional2 DAdventure games with high performance, high image quality and high level of 3A masterpieces can also seek breakthroughs and exert their own unique charm. In this design, the game is called “Dormitory Detective”,which is a AVG game that is closely related to campus and bedroom life of protagonist, and whose criminal motives and crimes are common 2D reasoning in daily student life. The game's mechanism will be designed to better fit the player's mindset.Compared to the previous game of reasoning, the player can more naturally substitute for the detective role according to the logic of"collecting evidence-collecting testimony-looking for evidence testimony-the conflict part—getting the truth”.Each link requires the player to judge whether the idea is correct or not. This is different from the previous game of reasoning game-“leading you to solve the case”.It helps the player to experience an immersion mindset, and at the same time feel the struggling reasoning experience in the game, and finally enjoy the pleasure of independently solving the case.In addition, the game will also introduce Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment(DDA)system, which always provides game difficulty in the game to match the player's ability level to help players achieve full immersion during the game.
