As the entrance of CNC machining,tool path optimization takes an important position in numerical control system.Since the G code input by CNC machine is generated by CAM software after finishing processing,the generated G code is not accurate either because of the precision in CAM software or some Parameter settings may be generated in the local beat up and down.So if we do not deal with these issues directly into the data processing there may be a knife marks or size unqualified or lead to excessive vibration of the machine body.Therefore,in order to solve this problem,this paper designs an trajectory optimization algorithm based on trajectory characteristics and processing mode.The traditional tool path optimization is based on curve interpolation method and curve fitting method,and the most important problem is that there is no effective use of the original trajectory information preserved in the small segment.Therefore,it is difficult to restore the efficiency and accuracy of a balance,and the reduction effect is very unstable.In order to solve this problem,this paper,based on the NURBS reduction algorithm,restores the path of the inlet small segment to NURBS curve.A stable preprocessing algorithm is designed for many problems of entry point,so that some problems of trajectory are solved in the initial stage.For a variety of reduction methods applicable conditions,on the basis of the determination of the reduction method,a trajectory partitioning method based on trajectory information is designed,which fully combines the advantages of many kinds of reduction methods,and carries out meticulous recognition and processing of different types of trajectories,which are divided into several different trajectory types and different processing methods.In view of some basic problems existing in the traditional trajectory optimization,we put forward a reduction algorithm which can effectively utilize the trajectory feature,and deeply studied many kinds of traditional trajectory optimization methods,aiming at analyzing the suitable conditions and disadvantages of NURBS interpolation optimization method and NURBS fitting optimization method.In order to use the trajectory characteristics effectively,this paper designs an effective overall scheme of feature extraction and reduction,including how to arrange the feature points effectively and how to iterate the correction error scheme under the precondition of guaranteeing efficiency.Finally,experimental verification is carried out on the actual platform,the reduction trajectory is more reasonable and the accuracy efficiency accords with the requirement.
