In the history of the development of the media industry,almost any technological change is accompanied by the emergence of new media and the great revolution that brings about the spread of information.The development of virtual reality technology,its initial attempt in the field of communication and the exploration of the immersive news model have all indicated that this new technology will have a tremendous impact on the existing news media.From a technical point of view,virtual reality technology is a subversive perception of the human body,as well as it is the expansion of the human body's comprehensive perception.From this point of view,the virtual reality technology itself is the wonders of the media.The core of immersive news based on virtual reality technology is "immersion" and "presence".Because of the conversion to the first perspective,the audience change the role from the spectator of news into a participant,immersed in the virtual environment through virtual reality technology.The virtual reality technology becomes a new media and VR news has become a new form of news reports.According to the communication characteristics of virtual reality,the content characteristics and visual design of virtual reality news are also the focus of this dissertation.Based on the case studies,this thesis analyzes the narrative strategies of virtual reality news.Virtual reality news realistically reproduces news events and scenes.There is also a need to reflect on the technical and human dimensions.Virtual reality technology has broad prospects in the field of news media.The cross-boundary integration promoted by virtual reality technology will be a new direction for the development of news media.
