In the real-time image processing with hardware,it is often necessary to use some basic image preprocessing filtering algorithms.The common characteristics of these preprocessing filtering algorithms are simple and easy to use.Therefore,for these basic preprocessing filtering algorithms,we designed a size variable airspace filter IP core.In this paper,we focused on the task of "Multi-core Target Detection SoC for air and ground objects",and completed the following tasks: a configured airspace filtering IP core and its generator are designed,and completed the relevant verification job.In the variable size of the airspace filter operation window work,we completed the four sizes of two-dimensional work window design,the image data on the image edge received the special treatment in order to provide operation data for filter function.At the same time,we also designed a variable structure which by setting the register to configure the filter operation parameters,filter function.In the corresponding filter function IP core design work,for the maximum filtering,minimum filtering,median filtering,convolution filtering,mean filtering,gray morphological expansion,gray morphological corrosion,lateral inhibition filter eight filtering functions,in the case of different sizes of the work window,we completed the structure design work of the window function.At the same time,we also designed an IP core generator by Matlab function.In the corresponding IP core and its generator verification work,through the construction of the reference model,the preparation of test incentives.We finished the functional simulation for the eight functions of airspace filtering in different configuration,the simulation results of modelsim are compared with the results of Matlab reference model to verify the correctness of the IP core and its generator,which indicates that the IP core meets to the design requirements.
