Augmented reality has been widely used in various fields in recent years and is one of the current research hotspots. However, perceiving enhanced information correctly is still a huge challenge, and deep distortion is still a perceptual problem that is widely present in augmented reality. In order to accurately register a virtual object,a marker is required. This marker not only provides the feature points but also provides a scale in the monocular case, but whether the introduced marker will affect the user's perception of depth until now no one has been found to had studied it.This paper proposes a simple background interference countermeasure technology and a complex background interference countermeasure technology in an augmented reality environment. The simple background refers to the area that needs to be covered is a two-dimensional planar structure. The simple background interference countermeasure technology refers to use an auxiliary mediating surface to cover the marker;the complex background refers to the area that needs to be covered is a three-dimensional structure, and the complex background interference countermeasure technology refers to a "virtual and realistic integration" technique that utilizes the extracted edges, masks, and transparency masks to cover the marker. It is an non-photorealistic method that has been used to cover the markers.Based on this, this paper carries out three user perception matching experiments in personal space. Each experiment contains two tasks. The first task is to move the virtual cube back and forth in order to align the front plane of the cube with the target stick. The distance offset between the last position of the virtual cube and the target stick and completion time are recorded. The second task is to move the virtual cube up and down in order to make the bottom surface of cube reach the specified height from the desktop, and the offset between the bottom surface of the cube and the specified height and finish time are recorded.Experiment 1 is a simple verification, experiment 2 is a verification in a simple background, experiment 3 is a verification in a complex background, and experiment 2 and experiment 3 are extensions of experiment 1.Finally,the experimental results show that only significance in the depth direction was found in the three experiments, and the mean distance offset in the case of covered markers was smaller than that in the case of non-covered markers. Therefore, the natural covered markers is better than the non-covered markers, and the user's depth judgment is better. At the same time, the effectiveness of the background interference countermeasure technology is verified through experiments.
