In this paper,the robust stability of a switched linear system is investigated under a class of combined switched strategies.As a typical and relatively simple switched system,switched lin-ear system consists of a limited number of linear subsystems and switched rules that coordinate their operation.Thus,the stability of switched system is different from that of general linear sys-tem or nonlinear system.That is,there are such phenomena:(i)each subsystem is stable and the whole system is unstable due to the improper selection of switching signals;(ii)each subsystem is unstable,but appropriate switching signals can be selected to stabilize the whole system.And the cause of the above phenomena are because of the existence of the switching signal.There-fore,by designing switching rules,we can study the stability of switching system.Firstly,a class of switched laws,combining dwell-time with min-switching laws,are presented to stabilize the whole system.Under one appropriate assumption,the attenuations of the Lyapunov function at the switching instants can eliminate their increments during the dwell time.Furthermore,under a proper assumption,the disturbed switched linear system has a good robust stability under an improved switched law.Finally,a numerical simulation verifies the effectiveness of the switched designs.The main contents of this paper are follows:Firstly,it is the introduction which mainly focuses on the research models and concepts of switched linear system,and expounds the research status and main existing results.Secondly,a switched system with two unstable subsystems is studied to make it maintain stability by choosing a switched rule which combining dwell-time and min-switching laws.Fur-thermore,under a proper assumption,the disturbed switched linear system has a good robust stability under an improved switched law.After that,it was extended to a switching system with multiple unstable subsystems.Finally,it verifies the effectiveness of the switching design through a numerical simulation.
