Recent years witnessed a increase of Chinese mainstream Medias using Twitter as a way to strengthen International Communication,and earn its own voice at international stage.International Social Media is definitely the most direct and convineient way to reach international users,which is because Social media features strong interaction,fast communication,and variety of media forms.Make effective use of social media like Twitter can help Chinese media drawing attention from foreigner audiences.It's worthwhile to study the practices of Chinese medias use Twitter in International Communication and explore the strategies Chinese medias can use to perform better on foreign social media platform.In this research,five Twitter accounts of Chinese medias are chosen as study objects.They are @XHNews,@CGTN,@PDChina,@ChinaDaily,@GlobalTimes.In order to figure out the features of the published contents of the five media account through 2017,a content analysis was conducted.In addition,this study employed a significant event,Xi-Trump Meeting,as exemplary case to study the reporting strategies of Chinese Medias accounts to big event on social platform.Results indicate that there are several influence factor in the Communication on Twitter.1.Brand awareness;2.Twitter topic;3.the language and form of report;4.Interaction with fans;5.Standardized account operation and management. |
