Image processing system is developing towards high speed,high resolution,high integration and high reliability.In view of the lack of speed and real time of software processing system,the implementation of image processing algorithm by hardware is becoming a research hotspot.Programmable logic gate array(FPGA)is a very widely used programmable logic device.Combining FPGA technology with image processing technology,it can give full play to the advantages of FPGA hardware design,parallel processing and multistage pipeline design and improving the data processing ability and processing speed of image processing system.In view of the current situation of video capture and image processing at home and abroad,this paper describes in detail the overall design scheme of the new image acquisition system,including FPGA,SDRAM and CMOS camera,as well as the function and design of each functional module.First,based on the existing research results,the overall design concept of the image acquisition system based on FPGA is proposed.According to the functional objectives of the system,it can be decomposed into several modules that are connected with each other and act on each other.Second,different functional parts,including reset,video capture,color space conversion,video storage and VGA display.The general idea and the specific operation principle of the display part are illustrated in detail and its workflow is explained.At the same time,the logic analyzer provided by ISE is used to verify the system operation goal of video acquisition,storage and final display.Because the data amount of video signal is very large and the signal is very complex,it is necessary to design a new video signal processing system to realize the purpose of real-time acquisition,large storage space and real-time processing.The new video signal processing system studied in this paper has strong practicability and can be widely used in the real life of human beings.FPGA is used to bring new methods and ideas to image processing in algorithm and systemstructure.
