In China,the amount of cultural relics unearthed is great every year,in which pottery and porcelain are most of the revolving relics.Due to the influence of natural disasters,it is difficult to show it in a short time by the traditional way of manual repair.In order to show the image of the restoration of cultural relics in advance,this paper introduces the augmented reality technology into the field of digital restoration of cultural relics,and designs and establishes a set of digital restoration system for cultural relics.Based on this kind of revolving body,the digital image processing technology is used to reconstruct the digital model with the geometric features of the cultural relic model,and the display technology of the enhanced reality display is introduced to realize the display of the digital restoration image of the cultural relics.From the experimental results,it can meet the current significance of restoration.The main research work of this paper includes the following points:1.The digital restoration and display system of cultural relics is designed under the background of low rate of traditional restoration of cultural relics,and the overall work flow is analyzed.In order to better achieve later application,we built the experimental platform on the basis of simulating the real environment.2.According to the structural features of the ceramic rotator,an industrial camera is used to obtain the two-dimensional image of the cultural relic.A method of extracting the contour of the cultural relic is proposed by using the geometric characteristics of the rotating body.The image that presents the target tilt is corrected.Through many images,the error between the symmetrical center line and the main axis of the image is in 0.3 pixels,and the average number of pixels between the left and right bus lines is 1.67 pixels.From the result,we can use the obtained bus bar to draw the cultural relics digital model.3.We studied the registration method based on logo to achieve the virtual reality registration of the system.In order to achieve better interaction with the system,a positive hexahedron interactive module is designed on the basis of two dimensional identifier,whichcan make use of this module to realize the multi angle observation of the cultural relics.4.We summarize the research methods proposed in this paper,calibrate the camera with calibration version,and get the parameters of the camera.In the local experiment,the mean values of the long axis measure of multiple target images before and after correction are calculated,and the difference between the average values of the correction and the correction is 0.0934 pixels,and the difference of the mean value of the short axis is 0.1229 pixels.The calculated short and long axis ratio of images is compared with the length and width of real artifacts.The maximum error is 0.0018,and the average error is 0.0012.In the final augmented reality display test,we can dump the virtual cultural model into the real scene.
