A Study On The Professional Clustering Knowledge Service Platform Of Chinese Sci-tech Journals

The professional cluster development of sci-tech periodicals has become one of the main development methods for solving the small,scattered,and weak situations of China's sci-tech periodicals.In the form of a network platform,industry journals are gathered to gather the advantages of periodical clusters to meet various disciplines and disciplines.The knowledge needs of industry users and the provision of knowledge services to users are one of the core modes for the digitalization of future scientific journals.At present,foreign advanced sci-tech periodical publishers relying on their group-oriented and large-scale periodical cluster management models have already formed their industry advantages that are difficult to shake,and rely on their content resources advantages to build a mature and perfect knowledge service platform to provide users with Digital publishing,resource retrieval and acquisition,industry exchanges and interactions and other aspects of knowledge services.In contrast,the construction of the professional clustering knowledge service platform for Chinese sci-tech periodicals is still at an exploratory stage.Only a few industries and disciplines have built a periodical cluster platform.This paper summarizes the models and characteristics of the construction of professional clustering knowledge service platform for Chinese sci-tech periodicals through the research and combing of related literatures at home and abroad.By selecting domestic typical cases for comparative analysis,we find that there is a gap in the construction of clustered knowledge service platforms for Chinese sci-tech journals.Based on the theories of industrial districts,cluster governance theory and knowledge-based theories,through literature research and case studies,we found that there are deficiencies in the construction of specialized clustered knowledge service platforms for scientific journals in China,and put forward corresponding development proposals.At the literary structure level,the research background and research significance of this article are first described,and the inevitable trend of the clustering of sci-tech periodicals in the digital publishing transition of the publishing industry and the specific significance of researching the sci-tech periodical cluster service platform are briefly described,and the structure of this article is briefly described.The research methods and innovations are summarized.Then,the related concepts and theories adopted in this paper are introduced,and the current research status of the clustered knowledge service platform for scientific and technical journals at home and abroad is systematically reviewed,including research hotspots,major research directions,and research results.After that,it mainly introduced the development status of the clustered knowledge service platform for Chinese scientific journals,expounded several modes of cluster development of scientific journals,and summarized the characteristics of the professional clustering knowledge service platform construction of Chinese scientific journalsCombining the development status of the development of knowledge service platforms for professional cluster development of Chinese sci-tech periodicals,the deficiencies in the construction of clustered knowledge service platforms for Chinese sci-tech journals are summed up,mainly including:lack of a healthy and orderly external environment,unorganized internal organizational structure of the organizers,and knowledge There are four major aspects:lack of service platform construction and operation capabilities,dependence on financial support,profitability,and lack of marketing models.In the case study section,the Chinese Optical Journal Network,the Chinese Medical Journal Network,and the Material Periodical Network were selected as the typical case of the professional clustering knowledge service platform for Chinese sci-tech periodicals to conduct comparative research.They were from the platform development overview,product and content construction,knowledge service path,and profitability respectively.Four aspects of the marketing model and the comparative analysis of the case,and summed up their experience can be used for reference.Based on the status quo and typical case studies,the development proposals for building a clustered service platform for scientific journals in China are proposed,which mainly include the creation of a good external development environment,the reform of the internal organization mechanism of the organizer,and the promotion of knowledge service and operation of the sci-tech periodical cluster platform.Capabilities,building multiple profitable and marketing models in several major areas.The last part expounds the conclusions of this paper,the prospects for the development of the clustered knowledge service platform for Chinese sci-tech journals,and the research inadequacies.
