The objects in the scene have a great dynamic range..Because of the limitation of hardware condition,most imaging equipment can not restore the scene observed by the human eye accurately,and can only record the contrast of the local range in the real scene.This can result in a lack of access to real scene information.Nowadays,the research of high dynamic imaging mainly depends on the software method and the time complexity of the high dynamic algorithm under the current processor architecture is high,which can not meet the processing of real-time high dynamic composition algorithm.This system is based on Xilinx's ZYNQ-7000 series of heterogeneous processors that provide ARM+FPGA-based system-on-a-chip solutions.It uses a hardware-software co-design method to achieve high-dynamic-range image composition and hardware acceleration.The specific research content is as follows:(1)The related technologies of high dynamic range synthesis technology are studied and principle of high dynamic range image synthesis algorithm is analyzed.The synthesis algorithm based on camera non-linear response curve is selected for design.The system target is to complete three parts of the algorithm:camera response curve,calibration,synthesis and tone-compression mapping of high dynamic range pictures.(2)The system-on-chip is built which use the frame buffer streaming method to implement image transmission.The accelerated IP core is created by the high-level synthesis tool of Vivado HLS.which and it can implement parallel optimization of the algorithm.VDMA is used for image flow transmission.The processing speed of the whole system is improved by accelerating the IP core.(3)Based on the hardware system,the establishment of the embedded development environment and the porting of the OpenCV are completed.The operating environment of the software program is configured.The function of camera response curve calibration and tone mapping compression is realized to generate high dynamic images that can be displayed.The combination of software and hardware enables the synthesis of high-dynamic-range synthetic images.(4)The high dynamic range image synthesis system based on ZYNQ is successfully realized by using ZYNQ software and hardware co design method and the quality and processing speed performance tests were performed.By analyzing the experimental results and satisfying the synthesis function,the processing speed of this system has been greatly improved.
