Study On Intertextuality Of News Commentary

Intertextuality is the basic characteristic of discourse,it is also an important feature of news discourse.News commentary is a style that commentators comment on specific news events or social issues,which aims to disseminate opinions informations.News commentary can influence audience,leading public opinions,helping them understand social contradictions as well as set up correct view of values.It shows clear pertinence and guidance.Using intertextuality theory to analyze news commentary can help us see the Intertextuality between news reports and news reviews more clearly and directly,which can also make it easier to reveal the ideology hidden by the news commentary.This paper takes the news commentary that are awarded in the prize of the 26 th and 27 th chinese news journalism as the object of the study.Apply intertextuality theory and make qualitive and quantitve reaserch on the study case.This paper focus on the intertextual characteristics in the titles and body of news comments,and eventually find out the communication function of the intertextuality in news comments and how the news reporters express their ideas by means of intertextuality.
