Archives have important practical significance in safeguarding the country's overall security,promoting economic development,satisfying public cultural needs,and serving academic research.As an important medium for the transmission of national memory,archives represent collective memory and recognition of common experiences.The source of centripetal force and cohesion of the people,the control of social memory is inevitability,internality,rationality,and legitimacy.As part of the anti-Japanese war archives,the “Comfort Women” archives profoundly exposed the crimes committed by Japanese militarism during the Second World War and clearly revealed that the Japanese military established “comfort women” in China and Southeast Asia during the war.Compulsory recruitment of "comfort women" historical facts.The study of the "comfort women" archives is of great significance in raising national and ethnic identity and resisting the denial of anti-memory of history.Based on the above,this study chose “Research on archives of comfort women” in China from the perspective of social memory.In this study,through research methods such as literature research,field research,and questionnaire surveys,the predicaments of the "comfort women" archives in inheriting and constructing social memories are proposed.That is,it is difficult to collect and organize files,concealment and disappearance of "live files",and the use of files.The degree is not high,the society pays less attention to the “comfort women”,and proposes to improve the capacity of “comfort women” files collection,combine the inheritance of major activities and build “comfort women” memory,build “comfort women” wounded memorial hall,and use modern media to pass on And the construction of "comfort women" memory four points to improve the "comfort women" file proposal.
