Reversible watermarking technology can extract the hidden data and recover host image to be its original condition losslessly.Hence,it has been widely used in military,medical and other sensitive fields in the past decades.However,most of present algorithms are designed for lossless environment.That is the host image must be transmitted without any attacks such as image compression,geometric attacks,noise and so on.But such image attacks are inevitable during the process of storage and transmission of the host images in the real scenarios.This paper is committed to study new robust reversible image information hiding schemes,which are on the basis of the reversible information hiding in combination with the actual attacking situation.That is to say,they can recover the original image after extracting watermarks from the watermarked image as long as it is not processed by attacker.And they still can extract robust watermarks from watermarked image,even if the host image have been undergone some malicious or normal processing like rotation or JPEG compression.Three novel robust reversible data hiding schemes are proposed as follows:(1)A robust reversible data hiding scheme based on histogram shifting.It is based on image blocking and histogram shifting in image spatial domain.Two robust watermarks are embedded in each image block with a special hexagon model.At the same time,the side information is hided in histogram bins by histogram shifting.The experimental results prove that,it is robust under image compression to some extent and the distortion of host image is much less.Besides,the problem of side information is solved perfectly.However,the robustness under higher compression should be improved,(2)A novel robust reversible watermarking scheme based on IWT.To improve the robustness under image compression with higher extent,robust watermarks are embedded into the mid-low frequency coefficients in image frequency domain.Meanwhile,reversibility is ensured by adopting integer wavelet transform(IWT),which provides integer-to-integer transformation that realize the transform and inverse transform between spatial and frequency domains without any distortion.Experimental results verify high performance of robustness and image visual quality.(3)A robust reversible watermarking algorithm resistant to image geometric transformation.Most existing algorithms pay little attention to the robustness under geometric transformation.To study this point,this paper first selects two circles,which are centered at the centroid and the center of image respectively.Then,statistic quantities of these two circles will be employed for robust watermark embedding by altering pixels' value.Experimental results verify the high performance of the proposed algorithm in resisting various attacks,including JPEG compression and geometric transformation.
