With the improvement of living standards,the demand for streaming media resources is becoming larger than ever before.Nowadays,two mainstream streaming media interactive platforms are in application.One is based on stand-alone server and the other is based on distributed server.The streaming media interactive platform based on stand-alone server can work well when the number of users is small,however,it cannot respond in real time when a large number of users access the server at the same time.The streaming media interactive platform based on distributed server maintains good condition even though a great deal of access happen over a period of time.But it is hard for companies to accept the cost of time and money to build a complete streaming media interactive platform based on distributed server.Because of the limitations of these two platforms,a new platform based on cloud services is proposed to substitute them.The streaming media interactive platform based on cloud services not only perform well in processing millions of access at the same time but also easy to build.And compared with exiting platforms,the platform based on cloud services can provide faster upload speed,download speed and lower response latency by using the authentication of Security Token Service(STS)and breakpoint resume function.This paper presents a system architecture of the streaming media interactive platforms based on cloud services,which is composed by three parts,including Mobile Client,Application Server and Object Storage Service(OSS).The Mobile Client can implement user management,request for STS,file management and media playback through initiatting these requests to the Application Server.The Application Server processes the requests of the Mobile Client and obtains the upload interface,download interface,delete interface and role assignment interface from the object storage service,it can realize the design of interactive strategies,the design of database,user management,distribution and allocation of Security Token Service(STS)and file management.The OSS handles the requests of the Application Server and provides upload interface,download interface,delete interface and role assignment interface for it.The system security is enhanced by the STS.The breakpoint resume function has been added to the system,which can increase the upload speed and download speed,reduce system response latency.After testing,the average upload speed can reach 220KB/s,the maximum latency of the system is 110ms.The streaming media interactive platform designed in this paper has higher upload speed and download speed and the smaller maximum response latency.
