In order to actively promote green communication and alleviate the problem of high energy consumption in the wireless communication to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction,It is especially necessary to optimize the energy efficiency of power amplifier(PA)that consume the most energy but have extremely low energy conversion efficiency in wireless communication devices.The modulation scheme based on the combination of polarization modulation and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(QAM)can optimize PA energy efficiency using the respective advantage of bit error rate in the non-linear and linear regions of the PA.However,the energy efficiency performance of PA based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation will be affected by many factors.Therefore,in order to optimize the PA energy efficiency,it is very important to study the energy efficiency optimization scheme of PA based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation.The research work is sponsored by the national nature science foundation of china:"Research on power amplifier energy efficience based on cognitive and polarization signal processing(61271177)" and"Research on polarimetric self-interference cancellation in full-duplex system based on additive Gaussianized phase noise(61501050)".The dissertation is focused on the PA energy efficiency optimization through the modulation scheme based on polarization modulation and QAM modulation.Aim at the problem that the energy efficiency performance of the PA with joint polarization and QAM modulation scheme is affected by many factors,this paper proposes a PA energy efficiency optimization scheme to optimize the PA energy efficiency by jointly optimizing the factors that affect the energy efficiency of PA.According to the differences of the depolarization effects of single-carrier and multi-carrier,the PA energy efficiency optimization scheme is studied from two cases where PA energy efficiency optimization based on the joint polarization and QAM modulation in the single-carrier and multi-carrier scenario respectively.The main work of this paper is following three aspects:(1)The paper analyze and review the current research status of the energy efficiency optimization in wireless communication and the basic theory of polarization modulation technology.Then the feasibility of PA energy efficiency optimization scheme based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation is analyzed.They laid the theoretical foundation for this paper.(2)Aim at the problem that the PA energy efficiency performance based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation will be affected by bit error rate and polarization-dependent loss effect in single-carrier scenario,this paper presents a differential evolution algorithm based PA energy efficiency optimization scheme.First,the pre-compensation algorithm is used to compensate for the polarization-dependent loss effect;Then,the energy efficiency model of PA in single-carrier scenario is established,and the factors that affect the PA energy efficiency are deduced and the optimization problem is designed under considering the bit error rate.Then,the traditional Oracle penalty function method is improved and combined with the differential evolution algorithm to solve the problem.Finally,under the change of polarization dependent loss effect,total data rate and bit error rate demand,the PA energy efficiency performance is analyzed.(3)Considering the polarization mode dispersion effect,the efficiency characteristics of PA and the bit error rate and data rate requirements,a composite differential evolution algorithm based PA energy efficiency optimization scheme is proposed in multi-carrier scenario.First,the channel equalization algorithm is used to compensate for the polarization mode dispersion effect;Then taking into account the efficiency characteristics of PA,the PA energy efficiency model is established in the multi-carrier scenario.And the optimization problem is designed under considering the bit error rate and data rate requirements.Then,the composite differential evolution algorithm is used to solve the problem to obtain better performance.Finally,under the change of polarization mode dispersion effect,efficiency characteristics of PA,bit error rate and data rate requirements,the PA energy efficiency performance is analyzed.In order to optimize the PA energy efficiency,this paper studies the PA energy efficiency optimization scheme based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation.According to the difference of depolarization effect in wireless channel and the factors to consider under single-carrier and multi-carrier scenarios,the PA energy efficiency optimization scheme based on the combination of polarization modulation and QAM modulation is proposed in single-carrier and multi-carrier scenarios respectively.Research shows that the scheme can effectively optimize the PA energy efficiency,and provides a new idea of PA energy efficiency optimization research.
