The wireless body area network is a collection of sensor nodes attached to the body surface or implanted in the body.It is used for real-time monitoring of human physiological data.It is widely used in fields of medical treatment,sports training and entertainment.The impact of the human body posture changes on the topology and the shadows caused by the occlusion of the human body make the transmission reliability of the data not be guaranteed.At the same time,once the node power is exhausted,it will not only change the topology and shorten the network lifetime,but also influence the service quality of the network.In order to prolong the network lifetime and guarantee the reliability of data transmission,this paper has researched the low power and high reliability protocols according to the characteristics of WBAN.The main work is:1)An energy balance AODV multicast route discovery protocol for wireless body area networks is proposed.It increased the minimum hop count to sink hops,the next hop node to sink next and the node itself has the forwarding capability isforward three parameters in a Hello message,and selects neighbors which can reach the sink only to participate in forwarding the RREQ message.This protocol effectively reduces the energy cost of the routing discovery through changing the broadcast to multicast,and prolongs the service life of WBAN with energy balance.The performance analysis and simulation experiment indicate that our protocol enhance the number of RREQ,packet delivery ratio and network life by-20%,3.5%and 20% respectively,compared with the EAAODV.2)A new protocol is proposed to reduce the probability of packet collision.Based on the hybrid polling MAC protocol,it classifies the nodes into high or low priority categories,the idle channel detection will be proceded when each node sends data to the Sink;it can effectively reduce the possibility of channel collision and improve the whole performance of WBAN.The simulation experiment indicates that our protocol enhance the ratio of energy utilization,normalized throughput,packetloss probability and average transmission rate increased by 5%,3.5%,-20% and0.2% respectively,compared with the hybrid polling MAC protocol.
