Research On The Rural Archive Source Construction Under The Perspective Of Rural Memory

With the advancing of new rural construction and the deepening of urban-rural integration process,the traditional rural areas in our country and the rural culture have been destroyed to a certain extent.Faced with the destruction of rural culture in the period of social transformation,the archives departments also need to take active and effective measures to participate in the protection and inheritance of rural memory.However,the management of rural archives resources has always been a big issue due to lack of funds,equipment,and policies in rural areas.Building the system of rural archival resources that apropos the new era is an important task for archival departments,township units,and village organizations in the coming period.Constructing rural archival resources with the perspective of rural memory will play an important role in promoting the construction process and will also arouse our concerns and reflections on improving the deep-rooted problems in the construction of rural archival resource system.Along this line of thought,this article has carried on the research on the rural archives resources construction.Based on the basic archival theory,this paper discusses the principle concepts of rural memory and rural archives,the relationship between rural memory and rural archives.This paper analyzes the archives work of 13 villages and towns and administrative villages in Qin County,Shanxi Province.Through the investigation of Qin County Archive and the township and village archives,the overall situation of rural archives in Qin County has been introduced.Focusing on analyzing the problems in the construction of rural archives resources of country Qin such as weak archives basic knowledge,poor standardization of archives,lack of archives resources,and low-level informatization.This paper proposes a strategy for rural archives resources construction based on rural memory,that is,to strengthen the awareness of archives,to clarify the participants in the construction of rural archives resources and their responsibilities,and to attach importance to archives collection and innovative archives working mechanism.The strategy has considered the characters including unbalanced work in the combined archives sector,inadequate rural archives work systems,lack of understanding of the importance of rural archives resources,and lack of rural archives management systems and technical standards,etc.Finally,combining the local characteristics of Qin Counity in Shanxi Province,rural memory was proposed from the aspects of rural archival resource excavation and rural memory protection,development of rural archives characteristic archival resources,rural memory communication,sharing of rural archives characteristic resources,and rural memory inheritance.
