Multihop wireless networks are very promising and complex systems.So far,there are still some problems to be researched.Especially,with the rapid development of Internet,network traffic grew rapidly which led to network energy consumption also increased.According to the current growth trends,in 2025,the average energy consumption of information and communication industry will be five times,thirteen times in the network filed,as many as 2006.More than half of the energy consumption in the field of network is wireless network energy consumption.Therefore,how to reduce the energy consumption and improve the energy-efficiency of multihop wireless networks has become a hot issue of the field of wireless communications.Firstly,the thesis studies energy efficiency of multihop wireless network in the different connectivity.The related concepts of connectivity and the implementation of K connectivity were introduced.On the basis of the concepts,the network model was built up by the optimization goal of maximizing the link utilization.Then,we put forward the routing algorithm based on residual bandwidth and compared the network energy efficiency under different connectivity.Secondly,we released the energy and spectral-efficiency tradeoff for multihop wireless networks by studied a point-to point communication link.On the basis of that,we built up the network model of Mobile Ad Hoc Network and exploit multi-criteria optimization method to systematically investigate the relationship between energy efficiency and spectral efficiency.Using the weighted sum method,we convert the multi-criteria optimization problem and put forward the concept of resource efficiency.Finally ESTROA algorithm was presented.Our algorithm,through the simulation analysis,outperformed the competitors in some indicators,such as throughput,energy efficiency,resource efficiency and so on.
