Research On The Science Society Of China's Organizational Communication In The Minguo Period

The Science Society of China is the first civil science society in modern China.From its founded in 1915 to the dissolution in 1960,the Science Society of China by means of issuing of scientific publications,writing and translating science books,setting up libraries and research institutions,holding scientific speeches and other activities,it has made outstanding contributions for the establishment and development of Chinese modern science.The Science Society of China is the earliest,longest and the most significant in all kinds of science society.At present the study of the Science Society of China has focused on the fields of scientific history and scientific culture,but rarely studying on the science communication behavior of the Science Society of China from the perspective of organizational communication.How to attract scientific talents and development funds,how to deal with the relationship between the government and themselves,how to promote the development of Chinese for this civil society with high efficiency,become a big issue in organization communication research field about the Science Society of China.Adopted the theoretical framework“structure—relationship—function”(SRF for short)to analyze the Science Society of China's organizational communication,first of all,combined with the historical stages and overall activities of the development of science communication activities during the period of the Republic of China,descriptively analyses the establishing processes and different communication activities in each phases of the Science Society of China.Secondly,based on the history,make a concrete analysis on the organizational structure,organizational relationship and communication's social effects of the Science Society of China.Finally,according to the empirical analysis on the Science Society of China above,comprehensive evaluate its organizational communication activities and science communication functions.And combine current environment of science communication,put forward some communication paths that can be referenced.The civil science society is not only has important significance in Chinese modern science and technology development,but also can be a powerful role in science communication activities with the progress of information technology and activity of civil societies.Although the historical environment of the Republic of China can't be copied,but the current Chinese society still has a close relation to the traditional society.The scientific community of the republic of China represented by the Science Society of China are powerful representatives for civil science societies.We can do some deep research on civil society,and it's a useful attempt to explore paths for coordinate development between the civil science organization and the external social environment,in order to provide some certain reference for our modern science communication enterprise.
