The Research Of Scientific Collaboration Behavior In Library And Information Science Based On Heterogeneous Network In China

With the rapid development of disciplines differentiation and integrated process,and the lateral and vertical development of interdisciplinary research,research collaboration is becoming more and more importance.Exploring the features and laws of collaboration behavior of Library and information science in China can help to find the size of cooperation team,allocate resource reasonably,promote exchange and share of theory of knowledge,methods and experience among researchers,then carry out research cooperation activities timely,and finally promote the development of disciplines.Therefore,it has important significance to study the behavior of research collaboration.This paper combines the features of homogeneous and heterogeneous network and constructs new heterogeneous collaboration network(another type of heterogeneous network).The collaboration network combines knowledge unit,like year,keyword,journals in academic journals in Library and information science,and forms many 2-mode and 3-mode heterogeneous network,e.g.author-author-keyword network and author-author-year-keyword network.Then this paper studies the scientific collaboration behavior in Library and information science based on those networks.The main contents are as follows:First,this paper reviews the fundamental theory of heterogeneous collaboration network,the main research methods and research progress.Besides,this paper uses literature statistical method,Gephi software and social network analysis to study the features of literature,collaboration network and author-author-year 2 mode heterogeneous network,in order to explore the current situation and dynamic behavior of scientific collaboration in Library and information science.Then,it researches the collaboration topic and its variation,finds and measures potential coloration space by using social network analysis,mathematical models and other methods.And finally,this paper analyzes author-author-journal 2 mode heterogeneous network and author-author-year-journal 3 mode heterogeneous network to discover the tendency and laws of journal,which collaborators published with social network analysis,mathematical models and coordinate strategy.There are two aspects of innovation in this paper: on the one hand,this paper constructs new heterogeneous collaboration network based on homogeneous network and heterogeneous network,which can show multi-relationship between different types of data sets and the set itself.On the other hand,the collaboration network combines knowledge unit,like year,keyword,journals in academic journals in Library and information science.And it analyzes the collaboration behavior from multi-angles with variety of mathematical models,research methods and corresponding analytical tools.
