Under the requirements of the era background that promotes national conditions education,cultural self-confidence,and the new geography curriculum standards for local geography teaching,the development of local geography teaching resources to assist in geography teaching has become a common practical need for teachers and students.As a scientific theory and methodology,system theory has been widely used in educational research.Its guidance and development of Xinjiang local geography teaching resources have important reference significance for implementing the requirements of new curriculum standards,improving the development and application ability of resources geography teachers and cultivating students' geographical literacy and homeland feelings.This article is guided by system theory,based on the characteristics of geography disciplines,the new geography curriculum standards and the practical needs of teachers and students.Through literature review and investigation interviews,it is found that there are problems in the development and application of local geography in Xinjiang.The design strategy is proposed in terms of goals,principles and processes.Taking the development of the WeChat subscription account of "Xinjiang local geography" as an example,the development process and method are described in detail,which provides a reference for teachers to independently develop teaching resources.Based on the above research ideas this research is mainly divided into the following parts:(1)Definition of core concepts and discussion of theoretical basis.Through literature review,the core concepts are defined and the relevant theoretical basis are explained.The compatibility of system theory with geography,geography teaching and resource development in core ideas,characteristics,principles and methods is analyzed.It is determined that system theory can provide a solid foundation and scientific method guidance for the development of local geography teaching resources..(2)Analysis of the current situation of the development of Xinjiang local geography teaching resources.Field surveys,interviews,and literature research methods were used to investigate the current situation of the development and application of local geography teaching resources in Xinjiang It was found that although the teaching modes of local geography in Xinjiang are diverse and teachers have a strong initiative to develop teaching resources,there are generally single forms of development and teachers' limited development capabilities,and imperfect development system,lack of scientific system guidance and other issues.(3)Research on the development and design strategy of local geography teaching resources.Under the guidance of system theory and taking the construction of local geography teaching resource database as an example,this paper proposes that the development goals should be determined on the basis of curriculum standards,teachers' guidance and learning situation.According to the basic characteristics of the system and local geography teaching,the development principles of adjusting measures to local conditions,suitability,scientificity and practicality are determined.Based on the hierarchy of system theory and the basic idea of structured system development,the development process of local geography resource database is divided into five stages: demand analysis,management scheme design,overall design,specific implementation,evaluation and maintenance,and the core tasks of each stage are specified.(4)Empirical research.Taking the development of WeChat subscription account of "Xinjiang local geography" as an example,the system analysis,function division and subscription registration,material management,theme menu design,information group sending and automatic reply setting process and method are explained in detail for teachers to independently teach provide reference for resource development.There are many types of rural land teaching resources and a variety of development methods.This paper uses the "Xinjiang local geography" WeChat subscription account as an empirical study of the development of Xinjiang local geography teaching resources to provide examples and references for the development of different forms of local geography teaching resources.
