Since the implementation of "Biology Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)",the new curriculum standard has clearly put forward the core qualities of cultivating students' "life concept","scientific thinking","scientific inquiry" and "social responsibility".The implementation of the new curriculum standard clearly puts the cultivation of students' inquiry ability in a more important position."Making Assumptions" is the core link of scientific inquiry;This article makes further research on the link of making assumptions.as far as the current situation is concerned,due to various inevitable reasons,there are still some problems in students' ability to make assumptions,which still needs to be improved.This article takes the high school biology published by PEP as an example,and the high school biology textbooks published by PEP are permeated with rich biological science history and related materials.Considering the value of the history of biological science in senior high school biological education,this research will take "the education research of cultivating students' ability to make assumptions through the history of biological science" as the theme,and study the help of the history of biological science to students' ability to make assumptions.This subject adopts three research methods: documentary method,questionnaire survey method and quasi-experimental research method.First of all,through consulting the relevant domestic and foreign education status at the stage when the literature appeared,and combing out the definition of relevant concepts and the corresponding educational theory support,at the same time,through consulting the literature,the corresponding teacher questionnaire,student questionnaire and test paper were formulated.The survey found that the students' ability to make assumptions is still lacking.The specific manifestations are: I do not know how to make assumptions,the assumptions made have no specific knowledge basis,the assumptions made are not good in content,and the expressions of the assumptions made are not ideal.The lack of students' ability to make assumptions is mainly due to the following reasons: First,students lack of understanding and understanding of the whole process of the development of the history of science;Second,teachers' classroom atmosphere and teaching methods;Third,the cultural background of the society;Fourth,students lack the corresponding knowledge network system and have too few channels to obtain information about the corresponding history of science.5.Lack of inquiry spirit and rote memorization of knowledge.Based on the previous literature summary and investigation as well as the analysis of the results of quasi-experiments,the following suggestions are put forward for the teaching strategy of cultivating students' ability to make assumptions: first,creating situations to cultivate students' interests and hobbies and guiding students to enter the teaching of science history as the first author;Second,enrich students' access to relevant information on the history of biological science,and help students understand the process of science history more comprehensively.Third,cultivate students' spirit of bold criticism and questioning;Fourth,help students actively build knowledge networks and frameworks to provide a strong knowledge base for making assumptions.students' academic performance has also improved significantly.The research of this topic enriches the theoretical system of cultivating students' ability to make assumptions to a certain extent,which is conducive to the implementation and arrival of the new curriculum standards.However,due to my teaching experience and limitations of teaching ability,there are still many deficiencies and areas to be improved in the research of this topic.I hope that the research of this topic can be better perfected in the future research.
