Since the reform and opening-up,a large number of left-behind children have appeared due to the impact of the dual urban-rural mechanism in our country.Parents of left-behind children in rural areas have gone out to work,their grandparents have guarded their families,the family structure is incomplete,and educational resources are scarce.Solving the educational problems of left-behind children in rural areas is an important part of building a socialist harmonious society.After nearly20 years of development,rural private boarding schools have provided more educational resources to the countryside and played an important role in solving the educational problems of left-behind children,but there are still many difficulties and challenges in development.In this study,through a specific survey on the development of Y Primary School in Rongchang District of Chongqing,we understand the current operating status of Y Primary School,analyze the social support situation from the perspective of social work,link resources from the perspective of social work,and try to make suggestions about the existing problems.In terms of research methods,this article mainly adopts the method of combining qualitative and quantitative methods.Summarizing domestic scholars' research status on rural private boarding primary schools to further explore the social support status of such schools,through field surveys?interviews,questionnaires etc,in-depth understanding of the social support status of Y primary school,from the formal support network and informal society support network started.The research found that there are currently unclear government policies,inadequate implementation,and insufficient financial support,the community ignores the role of rural private boarding primary schools,strong competition awareness in public primary schools,serious lack of social organizations,single guardianship types,and learning Lack of supervision,less parent-child communication,lack of psychological support and other issues.In response to these situations and problems,we tried to construct the social support network of Y primary school with the values,theories and skills of social work.From the practical reflection,we proposed to create a good policy environment,actively implement relevant policies,increase publicity,strengthen financial support Increase financial investment,give teachers subsidies and training,strengthen the support of social organizations,change ideas,actively promote home-school cooperation,improve their own management mechanism and other suggestions to improve the construction of social support networks for rural private boarding primary schools.
