Junior High School Chinese Textbook was compiled by Wang Shisan,Han Shutian and others,and was published in 1948 by Jinchaji Xinhua Bookstore for the general secondary schools in the Jinchaji area of the liberated area.The construction of teaching materials in the liberated area is an important part of the history of Chinese textbooks in China,but there has been little research on the teaching materials in the liberated area.On the one hand,The study of the Junior High School Chinese Textbook will help us understand the achievements of the textbook construction in the Liberated Area,and provide important historical resources for the study of the education construction of the Communist Party of China in the Liberated Area and the history of Chinese textbooks in the past century.On the other hand,from the perspective of textbook compilation,exploring the characteristics of junior high school Chinese Textbook can provide reference for the current Chinese textbook compilation.The introduction part of the paper briefly introduces the research significance,research status and main research methods of Junior High School Chinese Textbook.The first chapter is the background review of the compilation of Junior High School Chinese Textbook.It mainly introduces a series of educational laws and regulations issued by the government of the Republic of China to promote the standardization and scientization of the Chinese subject after the independent establishment of modern Chinese subject,thus promoting the construction of the Chinese textbook in the Republic of China period,and the basic formation of the Chinese textbook arrangement style.Since the establishment of the first revolutionary base,the Communist Party has been committed to the establishment of people's education,the establishment of a unique new democratic education system,and made considerable achievements in Chinese teaching materials.The second chapter explores the characteristics of the selected articles in Junior High School Chinese Textbook.This part mainly studies the essay system of Junior High School Chinese Textbook from three aspects:the theme,the structure and the characteristics of the selection.The themes of the selected articles are rich,mainly including revolutionary war,moral cultivation,natural science,social history,etc.Its content not only combines with the production and labor of the people in the border areas,but also include all kinds of Chinese knowledge and common sense required by the modern society,aiming to cultivate new citizens.The layout structure of the selected articles is unique,which makes this set of textbooks have strong adaptability to meet wartime needs.the selected essays have modern quality taking into account the classics,the coexistence of ideology and practicality,and popularization and civilianization.The third chapter explores the reading-aid system of Junior High School Chinese Textbook selected supporting system.This part is mainly about the research on the reading-aid system,exercise system and "grammar and practice" which are matched with the essay system.By exploring the content and characteristics of the text selection matching system and the relationship between them and the text selection,we can summarize the overall layout characteristics of Junior High School Chinese Textbook.The fourth chapter is the evaluation of the influence and limitation of Junior High School Chinese Textbook.The publication of junior high school Chinese has a positive impact on the education in the border areas and the ideological construction in the early stage of the establishment of the new regime.Because of many reasons,this set of teaching materials also has some limitations:the lack of classicality of selected articles,the nonstandard arrangement of teaching materials,and the difficulty of teaching materials beyond the students' cognitive level.In the conclusion part,the author expounds the inspiration of Junior High School Chinese Textbook for the compilation of current textbooks.
