Lv Zuqian,as a famous historian of the Southern Song Dynasty,the complicated social environment and excellent family tradition contributed to his achievements in historiography.In the era when Neo-Confucianism was prevalent,his historiography thought did not bear the imprint of Neo-Confucianism,instead it was abundant and profound,and contained many advanced scientific concepts and methods of historical research.First of all,in terms of the historical research purpose,he paid attention to the social function of historiography,devoted himself to cultivating morality by historical research,and at the same time emphasized the practical application.In addition,his historical research idea is influential and contagious.With unlimited enthusiasm for historical research,he made great contribution to the development of ancient Chinese history.Furthermore,his rigorous attitude,the spirit of advocating science and being realistic and pragmatic run through historical work,and were strong guarantee for his research results to be very reliable and persuasive.Finally,he advocated the historical research methods such as “reading in order” and “viewing history as if being in it”,crystallizing his life-long learning experience,which are also scientific teaching theories consistent with the principles of modern psychology and pedagogy.As a history teacher,continuously improving the teaching ability is a top priority.The historiography thought of Lv Zuqian in the Southern Song Dynasty is also applicable in modern times and fits the current teaching practice,which can give teachers profound inspiration and direct guidance.This article attempts to study the application of Lv Zuqian's historiography thought in the history teaching practice,and discusses it from three aspects.Firstly,it mainly refers to his methods of historical research,and explores seven effective ways to improve students' ability of learning history,such as observing the past and knowing the future,being good at questioning and learning in an orderly way.Secondly,it starts from the requirements of cultivating the five core literacy of history discipline,and summarizes important implementation measures can serve that from his historiography thought.Finally,from the perspective of practicing the professional ethics of teachers,it draws on the beneficial elements of his historiography thought in order to guide the future work direction.In this way,Lv Zuqian's historiography thought is closely combined with the history teaching insenior high school,which can try to provide new teaching ideas for teachers in the front line.At the same time,this article makes use of the past for the present,Which makes up for the shortage of the ancient excellent ideology and culture applied to practical research.
