Research On The Construction Of Professional Quality Evaluation Index System Of Hotel Management Students In Secondary Vocational Schools

Hotel management students in secondary vocational schools have always been an important talent force in the construction of the hotel industry and an important part of the hotel practitioners.The implementation of national strategy,such as the Belt and Road Initiative and Rural Revitalization Strategy,requires secondary vocational schools to continuously provide high-quality skilled talents for the hotel industry.However,students at present in secondary vocational schools cannot well meet enterprises' needs.There comes a phenomenon in terms of the mismatch between supply and demand.In particular,the rapid development of the hotel industry puts forward higher and higher requirements for hotel employees.In addition to professional knowledge and skills,it also calls for the comprehensive professional quality including affection,attitude and values and so on.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the professional quality of hotel management students in secondary vocational schools.This study starts with the evaluation of the existing professional quality of hotel management students in secondary vocational schools,through the questionnaire and interview of the hotel enterprises and the teachers and students in secondary vocational schools,which analyzes and summarizes the current situation of the professional quality of the hotel management students in secondary vocational schools,and finds out that there is lack of a relatively mature and well-operated evaluation index system of hotel management students in secondary vocational schools.It is also shown in this study that the current situation of students' professional quality cannot meet the needs of hotel enterprises,and enterprises in turn do not pay enough attention to the evaluation of implicit professional quality.Therefore,on the basis of literature review and social research,drawing support from the theory of quality iceberg model and multiple intelligence theory,this paper combines the methods of expert survey,TOPSIS,and task analysis to establish the professional quality evaluation index system for secondary vocational hotel management students,which includes 2 dimensions,8 indexes and 67 items of index interpretation.It provides a reference and direction for the evaluation and assessment of professional quality of hotel management students in secondary vocational schools,which will contribute to further improving the professional quality of hotel management students in secondary vocational schools,so as to promote the talent cultivation in the hotel industry.
