The Application Of Group Work In Improving The Social Adaptability Of Migratory Bird Children

At present,the problem of left-behind children has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life,and the country has also issued a protection policy specifically aimed at groups of left-behind children at the policy level.However,left-behind children are a big concept.In the design of future policies and service projects,more in-depth consideration should be given to the differences within this group and the satisfaction of diverse needs.Migratory bird children,as a special group of left-behind children,can only come to the city to reunite with their parents for a short period of time,such as during the summer.This group not only has the general problems of left-behind children,but also exhibits relatively special behavioral characteristics.Among them,the frequently changing social environment has brought new challenges to environmental adaptation for migratory bird children,and the adaptive problems caused by it may also Will affect the future healthy development of these children.This requires migratory bird children to further improve social adaptability to cope with the above problems.In this paper,through combing and analyzing relevant literature at home and abroad,the social adaptation ability of migratory bird children is operationalized into four aspects: family adaptation,academic adaptation,interpersonal adaptation,and self-adaptation.On this basis,with the help of the "Your Guardian of Love" project of Shenzhen Y Service Center,the questionnaire survey and the unstructured interview method were used to investigate the children of migratory birds participating in the activities.The results found that:There are problems and needs in academic adaptation and interpersonal adaptation,but there is no obvious difference between them and non-migratory children in family adaptation and self-adaptation.In response to this problem,this study takes improving the social adaptability of migratory birds as the starting point,focusing on improving their academic adaptability and interpersonal adaptability,carrying out practical activities in the form of group work,formulating appropriate intervention service plans,and using theories such as social support theory and social learning theory provide theoretical support for the practical development process.A total of six subgroup activities were carried out to comprehensively explore the effectiveness of group social work in improving the social adaptability of migratory bird children.At the same time,after the end of the group activities,we will reflect on the applicability of the project "Keep Love andProtect You" and form a new perspective of social work involvement in migratory bird children.From the perspective of service effectiveness,group work can help improve the social adaptability of migratory bird children,and can help them better cope with the adaptation problems brought about by urban and rural living environment changes.This can also enrich local social work practical experience,explore summarize the social work service model specifically for migratory bird children,and then provide some references and suggestions for the design of migratory bird children's related policies and specific social work services.
