Research On Social Benefit Of Liuzhou Water Sport Events

Liuzhou Water Sports Event has developed from the World F1 Motorcycle Boat Championship to the World Water Speed Sports Competition.It is the only sport event recognized by the State Sports Administration in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.Jinglan Water Sports Center and Bailiujiang River are also the national water sports demonstration bases recognized by the State Sports Administration.This event has great influence on the development of sports industry in Guangxi.And representativeness.Social benefit is an important index for policy makers to evaluate sports events in the sports industry.With the continuous development of sports events and the deepening of research,the radiation impact of sports events on urban development has become a new area of common concern of experts and scholars.Based on the threshold theory,this paper operationalizes the concept of social benefits of Liuzhou water sports events and studies the social benefits of Liuzhou water sports events,aiming at understanding the material,cultural,ecological,spiritual and civilized urban changes and development impetus brought to Liuzhou by water sports events.In this study,the author further explores and combs the concepts and connotations of social benefits and their essential attributes by using the methods of documentation,questionnaire,field investigation,expert interview,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis and logical analysis,and clarifies the problems of unclear conceptual boundaries of social benefits and the beneficial results of the investment in sports events on the social development of Liuzhou.This paper combs and summarizes the positive impact of sports events on society in the third-tier cities,finds out the factors that affect the benefits of sports events on urban development,and puts forward the sustainable development of water sports events in Liuzhou in the future,and the ways and methods to build the city.The results show that:1.Ten-year development of Liuzhou Water Sports Events: sound competition organization;competition is a government-led and social participation-assisted mode of operation;competition has a certain scale,reflecting the stable development of water events,from one yuan to diversified development,stable number of participating countries in the annual average of 15 countries,athletes in a number of years,162;the event is held once a year in 10 years,and its scale is stable.Duration,periodicity and stability are the characteristics of water sports events in Liuzhou City;the annual average investment of the events is 21 million;the way of propaganda of the events is mainly based on important domestic TV stations,Internet and mobile phone clients.2.The process of operationalization of the concept of social benefit of sports events in Liuzhou Shui City: the principle of operationalization of social benefit indicators of sports events;the characteristics of operationalization of social benefit indicators of sports events;the concrete methods of operationalization of social benefit indicators of sports events;the determination of social benefit indicators,four secondary dimensions and 26 tertiary dimensions,developed 104 specific indicators.3.Investigation and research results of social benefits of water sports events in Liuzhou City: 1.Spiritual civilization benefits: 89.94% of the total surveys were about the improvement of their own civilization quality,71.39% of the total surveys were about the improvement of their own sports ethics and etiquette,85.55% of the total surveys were about the improvement of citizens' public civilization quality;2.residents' happiness benefits: residents' sense of pride accounted for the survey.88.8% of the total,86.8% of the total,85.72% of the total,81.4% of the total,and 3.Benefits of urban construction and development: 68.56% of the total,56.62% of the total,56.62% of the total,and 56.62% of the total.Facilities construction residents' perception accounted for 54.32% of the total survey.4.Social management development benefits: public service management residents' perception accounted for 81.08% of the total survey;public security management residents' perception accounted for 63.35% of the total survey;sports events operation management residents' perception accounted for 55.72% of the total survey.4.The main factors affecting the social benefits of Liuzhou water sports events are subjective factors: government decision-making perspective,residents' cognitive perspective,the construction and development of the event itself;objective factors: the attractiveness and geographical conditions of the city,the development of urban construction,the mode of operation of the event,the investment of funds for the event,and the historical information of the event.
