Under the background of the continuous development of information technology and the deep integration with education,the majority of educators and researchers in China are constantly exploring the localized flip classroom teaching mode and conducting teaching practice research to change the shortcomings of the current traditional teaching mode.Combining the theory of mixed learning,multiple intelligence theory and cooperative learning theory,this paper discusses the typical flipping classroom teaching model at home and abroad.Based on the existing PAE model,the characteristics of the tourism major in Secondary Vocational Schools are integrated,and the PAE flip classroom mode of tourism professional courses is constructed.The model includes the construction of the first classroom,the second classroom,the third classroom,and the network teaching platform.In the Nanchang No.1 Secondary Professional School,the PAE flip classroom teaching experiment was carried out.And the two courses of "Tourism geography" and "Introduction to Tourism" were selected for practical teaching.By comparing the traditional teaching mode with the PAE flipping mode,factors such as age,gender,place of origin,and overall score were controlled in the experimental group(accepting the PAE flip mode)and the control group(accepting the traditional teaching mode).The implementation effect of PAE flipping mode in the teaching of tourism major in Secondary Vocational Schools is verified,which provides reference for the teaching reform of tourism major in Secondary Vocational Schools.According to the application data,in terms of test scores: the scores of class test and final exam of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and P<0.05,the difference was significant and statistically significant.In terms of students' comprehensive ability:(1)Before the experimental teaching,the comprehensive ability of the experimental group and the control group had no statistically significant difference(p>0.05),which was comparable;(2)After the experimental teaching,the learning interest scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than the control group in the two courses of “Tourism Aesthetics” and “Introduction to Tourism Science”(p<0.05);(3)Before and after the experimental group,the comprehensive ability score of the post-test students was significantly lower than the previous test(p<0.05),which was statistically significant;(4)Before and after the control group,except in the “Introduction to Tourism Science” course,the post-test application practical ability score was significantly lower than the previous test(p<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The rest were p>0.05,and there was no significant statistical difference.In terms of satisfaction evaluation: students' satisfaction with the use of PAE flipping classroom in tourism professional teaching reached 64%.And 54% of students expressed their willingness to continue to use the PAE flip classroom teaching mode in future course teaching.The results show that the PAE flip classroom mode can effectively improve the performance and comprehensive ability of tourism students in Secondary Vocational Schools.And students have a high degree of satisfaction with the model.
