With the surge of informationization,information literacy has become a core literacy for contemporary middle school students.Only by improving the information literacy of middle school students can the overall literacy of the social citizen be improved,and can the basic needs of talents for the development of national economic and social transformation under the new form be met.Information literacy enables people to maintain their ability of independent learning in the rapidly changing information society,so as to help middle school students constantly improve themselves in the study and life of the information society,and ultimately achieve the overall development of individuals.The concept of self-information literacy was first proposed.Researchers in the field of the library,information science,education,and computer science have carried out a growing number of studies on information literacy theory and practice.However,through literature research,it is found that although there are some studies that have analyzed the reasons for the differences in information literacy level among middle school students,it is mainly from the aspects of middle school students themselves and school education(such as curriculum teaching and teaching reform)to think about how to improve the information literacy of middle school students and ignore family environment factors such as the impact of information literacy for middle school students.In light of the above findings,the purpose of this study is to explore whether the parents of internet self-efficacy,ICT attitudes and internet attitudes play an important role in developing middle school students' information literacy,and put forward targeted suggestions for improvement.Firstly,the author summarized the relevant factors affecting students' information literacy from the perspective of family environment by reading the literature on information literacy,and constructs the theoretical initial model.Secondly,according to the influencing factors involved in the theoretical initial model,the relevant scales are searched.As a result,Middle School Students' Information Literacy Assessment Questionnaire and Middle School Student' Information Literacy Parent Questionnaire were designed.450 middle school students and their parents were selected for pre-test.According to the analysis results of pre-test,the relevant questionnaires were reasonably revised to obtain the final questionnaire.Then,the "Middle School Students'Information Literacy Assessment Questionnaire" and the "Middle School Student'Information Literacy Parent Questionnaire" were officially distributed to secondary school students and their parents.Next,SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used to conduct independent sample t-test,analysis of variance(ANOVA)and model fit analysis on the 1884 valid questionnaires.Finally,some students and their parents were randomly selected from middle school students who participated in the information literacy research to conduct semi-structured interviews to confirm the results and further analysis.The research results are as follows:the better the family computer environment and the higher the parental education level,the higher the information literacy of middle school students;the family socioeconomic status and the competence,time and frequency of information technology equipment used by parents have no obvious impact on the information literacy of middle school students.Moreover,the most significant finding of this study was that parents' internet attitudes and ICT attitude were viewed as important predictors for middle school students' information literacy.Parents' internet attitudes was viewed as important predictor for parents' ICT attitude.Parents' internet self-efficacy was viewed as important predictor for parents' internet attitudes.Therefore,this study will provide solutions,from four aspects.Firstly,parents should continue to improve their cultural literacy and provide guidance for middle school students to use information technology.Secondly,parents should establish a correct internet attitudes and create a good environment for the information literacy of middle school students.Thirdly,parents should increase ICT support to improve the information literacy of middle school students.Finally,we should help parents improve their internet self-efficacy,and thus enhance the confidence of middle school students in using information technology.
