Research On Promoting The Cultivation Of Socialist Core Values In Universities By “To Civilize People With Culture”

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that the socialist core values are the concentrated expression of the contemporary Chinese spirit and condense the common value pursuit of all the Chinese people.It also pointed out that we should focus on cultivating new people in the era who can take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation,and persist in cultivating and practicing the socialist core values.The value orientation of the youth determines the future value orientation of the whole society.Therefore,it is necessary to do a good job in cultivating the socialist core values of young teachers and students in universities.As an important place and frontier position of ideological and political education,universities must shoulder the burden of cultivating and carrying forward the socialist core values.“To civilize people with culture” is an important way put forward by the Party Central Committee in the new era for cultivating the core values.It can rely on culture to subtly enhance people's sense of identity with core values in a way of “nourishing all things silently”,and effectively enhance the effectiveness of the cultivation of core values.“To civilize people with culture” has concerned by the Party and state,and the practice of “to civilize people with culture”had been gradually carried out by universities.However,due to factors such as the richness of cultural content and the diversity of cultural methods,universities have not yet fully grasped the“to civilize people with culture”.In the process of “to civilize people with culture”,there are some problems,such as wrong choice of culture,incorrect use of method and so on,which seriously restrict the promotion role of“to civilize people with culture”.Therefore,it is very important to study thecultivation of socialist core values in universities by “to civilize people with culture”.The purpose of this paper is to systematically analyze “to civilize people with culture” and its logical relationship with the cultivation of socialist core values in universities,and to understand the current problems of “to civilize people with culture”in promoting the cultivation of core values,and then based on the analysis of the causes of the problems to explore the practical approach to enhance the effectiveness of promoting the cultivation of socialist core values in universities by “to civilize people with culture”.“To civilize people with culture”has the characteristics of permeability,indirectness,invisibility,humanism and regional.And it can inherit social culture,enhance the soft power of Chinese culture;enhance the appeal and attraction of education,improve the effect of educating people;comprehensively improve individual ideology and morality quality and scientific and cultural qualities.“To civilize people with culture”has a close logical relationship with the cultivation of socialist core values in universities.“To civilize people with culture”provides content and methods for the cultivation of socialist core values.The cultivation of socialist core values is an important task and development direction of “to civilize people with culture”.But nowadays,in the process of“to civilize people with culture”promoting the cultivation of socialist core values in universities,there exist some main problems.For example,the direction of promoting the cultivation of core values has deviated,the form of promoting the cultivation of core values is monotonous,the scope of promoting the cultivation of core values is limited,and the evaluation of promoting the cultivation of core values is lacking.The reasons for these problems are the weak awareness of education subjects,the flaws in educational content,the lack of education carriers,the multiple impacts of educational circles,and the lack of standards for educational evaluation.In view of the problems and causes,we need to follow the following basic principles:adhere to the principles of the guidance of Marxism;adhere to the principles of advancing with the times;adhere to the principles of fine drop off a small implementation.In the concrete practice paths,I think it is necessary to explore as following:firstly,promote the subjective initiative path byclarifying the overall linkage mechanism of multi-factors of “to civilize people with culture”,breaking the stereotyped thinking shackles of the people about“to civilize people with culture”,strengthening people's awareness and ability of“to civilize people with culture”.Secondly,promote the intermediary balance and innovation path by balancing and enriching the content of“to civilize people with culture”,excavating and innovating the carrier of“to civilize people with culture”.Thirdly,promote the environment optimization path by optimizing campus hard and soft environments.Fourthly,promote the evaluation feedback path by improving scientific and rational evaluation mechanism and establishing a sound feedback adjustment mechanism.Try to strengthen the practice of“to civilize people with culture”and enhance the promotion effect of “to civilize people with culture”on the cultivation of socialist core values in universities.
