In 2001,China began to implement a new round of basic education curriculum reform,geometry transformation has been introduced into the junior high school geometry curriculum.It not only expanded the geometry system of junior high school,but also injected new vitality into elementary mathematics teaching.However,the students' learning situations is different and the teachers' can't judge the Learning situations of students clearly.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the present situation of the students' thinking level of learning geometry transformation.This paper attempts to put forward the different levels of thinking about how junior school students lean plane geometry by using geometry transformation and gives the performance of different levels.Through the self-compiled test paper,and the following research results are obtainedFirst,69.5 percent of students reached the intuitive and operational level of geometric transformation in learning geometric transformation;40.9 percent of students reached the general and ideological level of geometric transformation in learning geometric transformation;11.0% of students reached the level of formality and deduction of geometric transformation in learning geometric transformation.Secondly,there is a strong positive correlation among the three levels.The improvement of low-level achievement will bring about the improvement of high-level achievement,so as to realize the development from low-level thinking level to high-level thinking level.Based on the above research,four teaching suggestions are put forward which aim to help students develop their thinking level from lower level to higher level:(1)Teachers need pay more attention to the basic knowledge and basic skills.And teachers should stress on penetrating teaching during the teaching process;(2)Teachers need attache great importance to the guidance to the students in the teaching,emphasize the importance of the expression in language and text.(3)What's more,teachers should make more efforts to the theorem proving,expanding and summary.;(4)The intuitiveness of information technology is used in daily teaching which enhances students' geometric intuition.
