The Social Work Involved In The Contradiction Between Mother-in-law And Daughter-in-law In Rural Multi-child Families

The relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law has a long history and directly affects the quality and trend of the whole family relationship.Compared with the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in urban families and the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural families with only children,the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural families with multiple children is more subtle and its contradictions are more complex,especially the complex interpersonal relationships in rural families with multiple children,which can easily lead to many other conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.Therefore,the author will improve the rural multi-child family mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship contradictions,as the focus of this article's social work intervention.Based on L village in henan province as an example,this paper through the previous questionnaires and conducted a large number of unstructured interviews,carding and summed up the problem of rural children family in-law conflict the manifestation of the big four,like each other psychological prevention is more serious,old woman daughter-in-law emotional comparison between old woman daughter-in-law is more complex,old woman daughter-in-law emotional confrontation between the more fierce,old woman daughter-in-law communication between more simple and crude,and so on.Then,this paper analyzes the causes of the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural multi-child families,including complex interpersonal relationships,unclear boundaries and roles of both sides,lack of ability and methods to channel emotions,absence of communication intermediary between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,and huge differences in concepts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.Under the background of the artificial "normalization" of the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural society,and the failure of traditional methods to improve the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,this paper points out the necessity of social work to intervene in the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in rural multi-child families,as well as the advantages of the idea and method of intervention.Behind,ABC theory in this paper,by using the theory of crisis intervention,the mood,energized,and the theory of family communication professional social work theory,USES the case work,groupwork,such as professional social work method,to help L village children family in-law improve both boundaries and role consciousness,improve the ability of handling both emotion and art level,change the irrational beliefs,solve sudden contradictions between,finally promote the L village children family in-law repair and improve elasticity and family relations.At the end of the article,the social work intervention in rural children family in-law conflict problem to evaluate the results,and reflection and summarized the case work and group work method applied to the limitations of the problem and deficiency,using the community work method is proposed to improve the community environment,as well as links to external resources,organizing community activities to improve rural children family in-law relationship advice.
