Study On Political Apathy Issues Of College Students

The political attitude of contemporary college students is generally enthusiastic,with high political trust and sense of responsibility.However,the sense of political efficacy and political responsibility is low,and attention to social hot issues is not enough.There is a problem of political apathy among college students.Among them,different grades,political status,employment status,political planning,and parents' political status have significant influence on college students' political attitude.In terms of specific dimensions,there are also significant differences in gender,school,grade,and major: boys pay more attention to social hot spots and have a stronger sense of political responsibility,while girls have higher political trust.vocational college students concerned about social hot spots at least,political trust and self-efficacy is highest,985 key university students pay most attention to the social hot spots with minimal political trust and political effectiveness;In addition to low attention to social hot spots,Freshmen and sophomores scored significantly higher in other dimensions than those in their junior and senior years.Nature subjects have the highest political sense of responsibility,the lowest political trust,the opposite of the social subjects students.The more serious the degree of political apathy,the less obvious the difference between variables.Politically apathy college students have the lowest level of political responsibility.Moderately and severely apathy college students are relatively low in political justice.Moderately indifferent college students have lower political fairness and higher attention to social hot spots.There is a significant positive correlation between political apathy and political participation of college students with severe apathy.In the face of political indifference and its causes,college students have become “potentially active participants”.All sectors of society need to work together to strengthen the practice of civic education for college students and pay attention to the development of civic virtues,bred rational citizens with critical spirit in public life.
