In the network society,people's life,work,study,entertainment,etc.are inevitably related to the network,and are greatly changed by the network.As a new type of entertainment,online games have already entered people's daily lives and become a network behavior with high participation of network users.For game developers,it is possible to clearly analyze the reasons why the game attracts people to participate.What users want to meet in the game is an extremely important topic,which often determines whether the game can be successful.Therefore,this paper takes this issue as the research focus.Based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,this study collects and analyzes the data of users and products of online games to determine the user characteristics of online game users,and the real needs of users of this group and the satisfaction of existing products.Carry out key research,select chess games as a case to analyze user needs,and analyze the functional design and its role of mainstream chess products with the case of Tencent QQ Happy Chinese Poker and JJLord two largest users.Part of the demand for chess users is not yet satisfied in the game.Based on this conclusion,we continue to analyze the problems existing in it,and at the same time,propose corresponding solutions based on this.This paper focuses on the needs of chess game users,and combines the mainstream product design of chess games.After analysis,the existing chess games are used in the game for users'finance,environment,communication,acquaintance,comparison,self-fulfillment.Other aspects have been met,and there are still shortcomings in the social needs of strangers,the respect for the needs of ordinary players,and creativity.Suggestions for improvement are made for unsatisfied needs,and guiding suggestions for product improvement are made.
