Research On The Influence Of Mobile Phone Network On College Student's Interpersonal Communication

According to "Quest Mobile" report data,as of December 2017,the number of monthly a ctive users in China's mobile Internet reached 1.085 billion,Sina Weibo's users reached 392 m illion,and We Chat users exceeded 900 million.The per capita use of mobile phone APPs in "00s" and "90s" is obviously higher than that of all Internet users.As a youth group with a stro ng desire for knowledge and exploration,college students are often more accustomed to using the mobile phone network.Mobile phones have become the primary tool for college students to access the Internet.Chats and games have become "the biggest thing” for them to do online.However,if college students are obsessed with mobile phones,they will reduce their active in terpersonal initiatives.This will undoubtedly adversely affect the healthy growth of college st udents.Therefore,self-recognizing,fully adapting to society,developing self-worth,and nurtu ring healthy personality are the basic ways for college students to communicate with each oth er and are important topics for the ideological and political education of college students.In this paper,the current situation of the influence of mobile phone network on college studen ts' interpersonal communication is investigated through questionnaire survey.Then through th e questionnaire analyses,it is concluded that the mobile phone network has a dual role in the i nterpersonal communication of college students.Although the mobile phone network has exp anded the scope of college students' interactions,broadened their horizons and enhanced their self-confidence,the mobile phone network has both positive and negative effects on college st udents.Some undergraduates are addicted to the Internet and rely on the Internet for their own freedom of expression.As a result,the ability to communicate with people is declining in real life.Aiming at the negative influence of the mobile phone network on college students' interp ersonal communication,we propose targeted solutions,such as: guiding college students to es tablish a correct concept of interpersonal communication;creating new teaching ways and me thods,enriching extracurricular activities of colleges and universities,etc.,to enhance the posi tive influence and suppress the negative influence of the mobile phone network on college stu dents' interpersonal communication,providing strong support for the development of ideologi cal and political education in universities.
