Research On The Influence Of Work-family Relationship On Female's Entrepreneurial Intention

Under the macro background of slowed economic growth,mass entrepreneurship and innovation have become one of the Double Engines for economic booming.For the past few years,more and more women have devoted themselves into the tide of entrepreneurship and become the mainstay of entrepreneurs,which enables women to play the vital role in raising the status of themselves,promoting economic growth and fostering social advancement.As one of the most efficient predictive variables to the actions of starting-up,entrepreneurial intention is of great importance to understanding both the female entrepreneurial decision and its activities.However,most of the domestic entrepreneurial researchers only focus on the female personality and their start-up performance.Since 2007,many qualitative studies on work-life relationship of female entrepreneurs have emerged in China,but there is still a blank in the quantitative studies between female entrepreneurial intention and work-life relationship.Therefore,the existing research cannot analyze the female entrepreneurial intention in a way with feminine psychological features,This study chose potential female entrepreneurs(i.e.Women who have not yet taken actions to start a business)as the object of research.Based on 422 valid questionnaires collected from Yunnan,Henan and other provinces,this study has verified that there is a significant positive correlation between job demands,job resources,family needs,family resources and female entrepreneurial intention.On the grounds of theoretical literature reviewing,this study come up with the opinion that the clash between work and life demands will lead to work-family conflict,and accordingly,the integration of work and family resources will bring work-family enrichment.This study also examined the mediating/regulatory effect of WFC,WFE,BFA and BP during the formation of female entrepreneurial intention.Finally,based on the results of statistical analysis,this study proposed a framework concerning the impact of work family relationship on women's entrepreneurial intention,which can provide a new perspective for the future research on entrepreneurial intention.
