Research On The Impact Of Public Finance Expenditure On The Sense Of Public Security

Security is the most basic need for humans.With the development of economy,many problems such as prominent social contradictions,unbalanced regional development,and frequent incidents of public security crises have made public security situation very grim in China.As a "barometer" of the public's perception of the safety of the living environment,the sense of public security has increasingly become an important indicator of government performance.According to Samuelson's definition of public goods,public security is a "public good",and the sense of public security is a special "public security product",which also has the attributes of public goods.The most basic and core method of public finance to meet the public needs of society is to provide public goods.It is very important to analyze the impact of public finance expenditure on the sense of public security.The thesis firstly mainly introduces the research background and significance,it sorts out relevant literatures on public security research,public security and public finance research systematically.It further introduces the research ideas and methods of the thesis,and points out the difficulties and innovations of the research.Secondly,the paper defines the concept of the subject words involved in the research,analyzes them with related theories,and builds the theoretical basis of the research.Next,the paper summarizes the current situation of public security expenditure and public security,and provides a realistic reference for further empirical analysis.Then,the two parts are empirical analysis of the impact of public finance expenditure on the residents' sense of public security.These two parts are a major focus of the thesis.By putting forward research hypotheses,using Ordered Probit models for setting and testing,and analyzing and summarizing empirical results,the impact of public security expenditure on residents' sense of public security is discussed in a quantitative manner.At last,the thesis draws research conclusions through analysis of empirical results,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions based on the current problems and empirical analysis results.It also points out the limitations of the research and the prospect of future research.At present,although the sense of public security is good,the objective public security situation is still grim.Through empirical analysis,two conclusions are finally drawn: public finance expenditure positively affects residents' sense of public security,and there are regional differences in the impact of public finance expenditure on the sense of public security.In addition,while the scale of public security financial expenditure is expanding,it also faces the problem that residents' subjective sense of public security deviates from objective public security services.Aiming at the problems and research conclusions,the paper proposes to increase public security expenditures,improve the public security expenditure structure,and promote public security services.There are 8 figures,7 tables and 83 references in this thesis.
