Political Representation Of Women In Kyrgyz Republic(1995-2018)

Political representation refers to the activity of making citizens ‘present' in public policy making processes when political actors act in the best interest of citizens.To better understand the political representation of women in the Kyrgyz Republic,which matters not only for each individual woman as an independent being,but also for the further development of the state in a global context,this paper focused on the state gender policy of the Kyrgyz Republic between 1995 to 2018 as a way to reflect on and assess the degree to which women were seen and represented in politics.The first Chapter,"women's Struggle in the political sphere: a historical overview",consists of three paragraphs that include research on the experience of political participation in developed and developing countries,as well as what problems remain unresolved.The second Chapter "State gender policy of the Kyrgyz Republic" provides a historical overview,reflecting on the legislative and conceptual foundations of the state gender policy of the Kyrgyz Republic,and the advantages of women's participation in political and social processes.The third Chapter analyzes the participation of women in the Legislative and Executive branches,as well as in local self-government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic,as well as trends and prospects for women's participation in the political life of the country.The fourth chapter discusses the problems of political representation of women at the state,individual and society levels.The fifth chapter gives the main basic recommendations of what Kyrgyzstan can learn from other countries,as well as the relationship of gender policy in achieving the sustainable development goals.In conclusion,conclusions are made and recommendations are made,which are supported by appropriate arguments.Attached list of references,tables and figures.
