Study Of Russian Foreign Policy After The Ukraine Crisis

The outbreak of the Ukraine crisis has a huge impact on the situation in Europe and even the world political pattern.Russia,an important player in the Ukraine crisis and one of the most affected countries,has come under intense criticism from the United States and the European Union for its acceptance of Crimea.Russia has also been politically isolated by the west after the Ukraine crisis,with the United States and the European Union imposing economic sanctions.Russia's economy has been battered and the search for a new way forward has accelerated.In order to cope with the crisis,Russia carried out a series of foreign policy adjustments,including contacting the commonwealth of independent states to maintain the stability of eastern Europe,and creating the Eurasian economic union to strengthen economic ties.Russia has also accelerated its eastward strategy,accelerating the development of the Russian far east,improving relations with Asian countries,joining the regional organizations in Asia,developing better relations with China and seeking new energy markets.In terms of relations with Europe,Russia has made great efforts to improve relations with European powers and restore economic exchanges.Link the Eurasian economic union to China's "One Belt and One Road" to revive the Russian economy.After a series of foreign policy adjustments,Russia's economic situation has improved,and its difficulties have been alleviated.This paper analyzes the adjustment of Russia's foreign policy after the Ukraine crisis,and analyzes the impact of the adjustment of Russia's foreign policy on Russia's national and regional situation.In the first part of the article,the author briefly reviews the process of Ukraine crisis and analyzes the causes of Ukraine crisis,including Ukraine's economic situation,domestic political and ethnic issues,and the impact of Ukraine crisis on Russia.The second part analyzes the adjustment of Russia's foreign policy in the face of the adverse effects of the Ukraine crisis,focusing on several important regions such as CIS countries,EU countries,the United States and Asian countries,and the adjustment and change of Russia's policy.The third part is the impact of Russia's foreign policy adjustment,respectively from the Russian national and regional level.
