The Study On Government And Media Roles And Interactions In Response To Public Events

With the profound transformation of economic society and the deepening of reform and opening up,the living standards of residents have been continuously improved and great achievements have been made in economic and social development.Accompanied by this,the flow of people has become increasingly frequent,the pattern of interests has become increasingly diversified,and various social conflicts have become increasingly prominent.Problems such as the requisition of agricultural land,food security,labor disputes,and the gap between the rich and the poor,as well as over-exploitation,deteriorating natural environments,frequent natural disasters,air pollution,and the natural environment have caused people to enjoy social development achievements.At the same time,it is also constantly worrying about the risk of intrusion,affecting the harmonious and benign operation of the entire society.Sudden public events are characterized by suddenness,urgency,and destructiveness.Especially in the era of new media,the impact of emergencies is more extensive and far-reaching.The media and the government,as the two main bodies that affect the public and cause public opinion,are a contradiction body with different roles and close relationships.In the event supervision,the media and government are mutually reinforcing and influential.system.As the provider of social public services and the monitor of public affairs,the government maintains its public interests as its basic duty and is the leader in the development of public emergencies;the media as a communicator of information,an interpreter of events,and a monitor of public opinion.It plays an extremely important role in advancing the crisis warning,event dissemination,and public opinion guidance of public emergencies.Therefore,in the event of a public emergency,the role orientation and benign interaction between the government and the media are particularly important and effective.An important means of public emergency.Based on this,this paper uses the theory of public management theory,crisis management theory,and communication theory as a research object in the response to sudden public events,government and media role positioning,and tries to summarize and analyze past research.In the response to emergencies,the role of the government and the media's positioning and interaction are analyzed.Specifically,the research content of this paper is divided into five parts: the first part introduces the research background,significance,research status at home and abroad,research content,research methods,and innovations and deficiencies in research;This paper defines the core concepts of this study and summarizes the theoretical basis for the study.The third part summarizes the roles of the government and the media,and on the basis of the role orientation,the government in emergencies.The relationship with the media was analyzed.In the fourth part,the government and media interaction scenes in the response to public emergencies were analyzed from the four stages of public emergencies,and the reasons for the interaction dilemma were analyzed.From the personnel level,the ideological level,the mechanism level,and the institutional level,the countermeasures for the positive interaction between the government and the media in responding to unexpected public events were proposed.
