The Study On Parody Narrative Of Liu Zhenyun's Novels

Parody is also translated into travesty.It is the concept originating from Western literature theory.Many writers at home and abroad employ parody to create works.And writers often parody modes of discourse,historical stories,classical texts,etc.in the unsuitable and even the opposite context to satirize,subvert and deconstruct parody objects.Liu Zhenyun is a distinctive writer employing the parody narrative since China's reform and opening up.Starting with the old and updated concept parody,this paper analyzes the type,the characteristic and the significance in the historical context by means of the case study method in order to offer the reference standard for researching the parody narrative of China's reform and opening up novels.The paper can be divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction which introduces the research status of Liu Zhenyun's novels and parody theories.The part explores the status in Western literature thoery and the development of parody.And this part probes into the reason for the generation of the parody narrative,that is,the loose historical context and the trend of thought of postmodernism.The second part is the typed analysis about the parody narrative in Liu Zhenyun's novels which is included by the language parody,the character parody and the story parody.The third researches the characteristic of the parody narrative in Liu Zhenyun's novels,which is the language carnivalization,the degradation of novels' characters and historical events,and cosmic synchronization.The last part expounds the significance of the parody narrative in Liu Zhenyun's novels.Liu Zhenyun criticizes and deconstructs the authority alienating individuals and the ethic by the parody narrative,esp.embodying the survey and the sympathy to alienation of lower classes.And the process alienated by the authority is achieved by time dimension----history,in essence,deconstructing the official history and then constructing the folk history.
