Landscape oil painting,Chen Hexi from 1993 to the present,still feel that there are many problems unsolved.He believed that to some extent,it was not other people who competed in creating paintings,but himself who competed with himself.There was a standard in his mind when he painted well or badly.As a Hunan native,Chen Hexi's paintings were influenced by Huxiang's cultural thoughts and combined with the characteristics of Western paintings,forming a unique painting language.Chen Hexi's landscape paintings are based on natural pastoral scenery,which organically combines objective images with expressive language,showing a full-flavored pastoral artistic conception.His painting language has a tremendous impact on the author's creative style.His persistent exploration and innovative spirit of oil painting language not only attracted me,but also inspired young scholars to study hard and persist in exploration.The author finds that there are not many monographs on Chen He-xi's artistic achievements and painting language.Most of the papers and periodicals on Chen He-xi's oil paintings that can be consulted are based on Chen He-xi's oil paintings.The starting point is to study the background paintings in his painting language,the nationalization and localization of oil paintings,and the implications of Chen He-xi's oil paintings.The artistic conception of Hanyu is idyllic.In reading and studying the literature journals of Chen He-xi's oil paintings in Art Observation,the author gets inspiration and pays attention to Zeng Bin's point that in the process of painting,(1)Chen He-xi often uses the similar silhouette method to summarize the objects,so as to start the research.Silhouette composition always gives people a high degree of generality and infinite imagination in art works.Whether silhouette originated from Chinese shadow play or Western shadow painting art,it is undeniable that the value of silhouette in artistic creation.From this,the author thinks about the form of silhouette in Chen He's western landscape oil paintings.He simplifies all unnecessary internal details and structures,the ability of geometric modeling,the generality of large area background painting,and the silhouette composition in Chen He's western paintings,all of which are the uniqueness of his painting language.Therefore,the author of the old bottled new wine,from the perspective of the composition of silhouette to study the reasons for the formation of Chen Hexi's artistic language,as well as the evolution process,and how the composition of silhouette is presented in his paintings,the aesthetic value of this artistic language and the inspiration to the author's paintings.This paper studies the forms of silhouette composition in Chen He's Western paintings.First of all,it is necessary to understand what is silhouette and what is silhouette composition.By summarizing the current information,this paper makes some conceptual explanations and definitions of silhouette and silhouette composition,which paves the way for the related discussion of Chen He's Western oil painting silhouette composition later.On the basis of understanding its basic concepts,combined with the evolution of Chen He's silhouette composition,through the analysis of different stages of Chen He's western oil painting,the causes of the formation of silhouette composition are gradually clarified.This paper focuses on the formal characteristics of Chen He's silhouette composition,discusses the contemporary deduction of the background color painting from the background color modelling and gamut composition of Chen He's western oil painting,explores how the background color painting reflects the silhouette composition,and discusses the simplification of the silhouette composition in terms of the planarization of object phenomena,the simplification of internal structure,the planar geometry of color,and the formation of square composition.The relationship between formal aesthetics and silhouette composition,as well as the highlights of planar silhouette characters on the composition of the picture,this part is the focus of this paper.Finally,combined with the formal characteristics of silhouette in his works,this paper elaborates on the spiritual inspiration of this aesthetic feature to the aesthetic value of Chen He's Western oil paintings,and the author's continuing thinking on the form of composition in painting creation,and ultimately guides the author's graduation creation and future painting language.
